In every living thing, there is an unseen energy. Many people tend to call this unseen energy God. This term has nothing to do with any specific religion. In fact, some people will call it the universal flow or spirit. It is a force that keeps us connected to the earth we live on.
It seems that, over time, we all begin to lose our conscious awareness of this energy. We allow ourselves to become busy and overlook the connection we have with the earth. How can you know if you are aware of this energy? My friends who own a Woodstock Moving Company know this practice down to a science. Well, use your emotions to guide you. If your emotions are negative, such as feeling hate, lack, doubt, worry, and fear, you are disconnected from the energy. If you feel emotions of happiness, joy, and love, you are connected. This energy is part of our life on earth, so it is important to maintain the connection.
By simply finding what makes you happy, you can be connected to this unseen energy. There are many things in my life that make me feel connected, and many of them revolve around my cats. They bring me the joy and peace that I long for my life. Some things I love in my life that help me feel connected to the energy are:
- Reading a good book with a cat curled up beside me.
- Watching my cats play together.
- Listening to soothing music.
- Taking a long quiet walk outside.
- Watching my cats sleep.
- Focusing on the blessings I have in my life.
- Spending time with friends.
It is important for each of us to feel connected to our world and the energy around us. It helps to keep our lives aligned. Personally, I don’t see how people are able to fully enjoy the energy around them without the love of animals, especially cats. My cats bring me so much joy, I can’t see my life being full without them.
Animals, specifically cats, are masters at bringing us closer to the unseen energy. They teach us to live in the moment. Besides, it is almost impossible to feel disconnected from that energy when you are spending time with your cats. At least, that is the case in my life. Are you feeling connected?
